Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound techniques which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. She repeated her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round and got her a night's performance bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
